I love TheConservativeMonster.com and Steve Cooper, but don’t always agree with him.

My response, followed by Steve’s original posting on Ron Paul:

 

Steve:

 

First of all, Ron Paul is definitely NOT a Communist. He is a super-capitalist, Libertarian and a patriot, in his own fashion. He is not a garden variety Republican either, but runs as one and is voted in with comfortable margins by his constituents, time after time.  Although he takes some Conservative positions, I don’t think that he claims to adhere to the Conservative line, whatever that is today.  While I disagree with some of his policies and didn’t support his presidential bid, I do respect him and would take him in a heartbeat over Obotomy, Bush I & II and Clinton, but not Reagan.

 

Watch the video again, but this time listen to what he’s actually saying and check some of his other positions, putting more emphasis on the more recent ones.  If you held me accountable for my positions before I started graying at 35, I would look more like a Liberal, which I definitely ain’t anymore.

 

-          He is strongly opposed to the CIA, which has been mostly unaccountable to Congress and only somewhat so to the president. We survived just fine without a “CIA” for a long, long time, in fact until 1947. We have not done so well with it since it has existed.  The CIA has caused incalculable damage, with its incompetence and heavy-handed, illegal meddling and has generated more ill will toward this country and probably broken more laws than any other agency, all in the name of “national security.” I agree with Ron about its lack of accountability.  He is not saying abolish it and do nothing in its place. I agree with him that our requirements could be met by the DoD and a Congressional arm.

 

-          He concedes that the FBI has accomplished some good. But, it has also overextended its mandate and has become a fearsome federal police force, including illegally threatening Rev. Manning, Ruby Ridge/Waco and much more.  He is correct that many of its functions should be done at the state level and that a lot of the federal laws they hyper-enforce are unconstitutional and should not even exist.  That being said, there are interstate issues that need coordination that state forces could not manage well. So some kind of a coordinating agency and far more limited federal forces are in order. They should focus on terrorism and mega/interstate crime.  Let’s also make sure that Obama never gets his “Domestic Security Force, as powerful and well-funded as the DoD,” or we are in serious trouble, dude.

 

-          He’s correct that the IRS should be abolished, along with the Federal Reserve. Both are abominations that should never have existed in the first place.  Revenues should be collected at state and local levels only and assessments should be passed along to the federal govt., only when states approve and release the purse strings, to keep control where it belongs. The federal bureaucracy has become all-powerful and fearsome, leading to the mess we are now in, with extensive loss of liberties, a $12 trillion nominal debt and a total of $80+ trillion, including unfunded liabilities of Social Security and Medicare. Further illegal and hidden actions of the Fed and Treasury may have incurred another $10 trillion in obligations or pledges.  Money should be coined by the treasury– real money– as the Constitution calls for. Maybe we wouldn’t be staring national bankruptcy in the face now, if we had only followed that silly old piece of paper from Philadelphia.

 

-          While we’re at it, we should also eliminate the Dept. of Energy, which does nothing useful and even impedes energy development — and the Dept of Education, which is worse than useless and totally unconstitutional.  Most of HEW is also useless or unconstitutional, as well.

 

      I just eliminated a big chunk of the deficit, in just a few paragraphs.

 

Do you REALLY want smaller, more accountable government and lower taxes? Will you stand apart from the Democrats and RINO’s that have been wrecking our country for many years?  Do you really believe in what the Tea Party movement is saying?  We are the United STATES of America, Not the Federal State/Reich of America. At least, that was the plan at one time. Restore the Consitutional Republic!

Communism is dead? There are no communists? There are no traitors in the congress, senate and court system? You will change your tune when you and your kids are waiting on line for scraps of food. You will change your mind when your mother dies on the operating table. You will change your mind when your sister is denied a mammogram, but Chelsea Clinton will have no problem getting hers.

I am sick and tired of the frauds like Ron Paul poisoning this country as he poses as a conservative patriot. Would Putin put an American conservative patriot on Russia Today TV? No, he would only put a KGB stooge and puppet on and that is why he adores Ron Paul soooo much.

Gold price is blowing off the top. It has quadrupled since 2001 and could at least quadruple again. This is very bad news for the dollar and fiat currencies in general, the U.S. economy and future interest rates.  It is also excellent news for gold (and silver) investors.  Jim Willie CB, author of one of the finest financial newsletters in  the world, is kind enough to sometimes send the public scraps of valuable information, in the form of free letters such as this one (link below). Serious investors could do a whole lot of worse things with their money than invest in his “Hat Trick Letter” www.goldenjackass.com , a tour de force.  He puts out a series of three letters a month, which are extremely educational and revealing.  I figure that the only reason he hasn’t been assassinated yet is that his insights are just too valuable.  He’s a bit heavy on the conspiracy theories, but only has to be right half of the time on those to be useful.  People have stopped laughing at him and are now taking notes and taking profits instead.

I believe that this may be unprecedented, in the speed and magnitude of the drop in popularity.  Many who were fooled in November, 2008, are fooled no longer.  The “death cross” on the chart occurred in June, when Strongly Disapprove first exceeded Strongly Approve.

Here’s another situation that is TOTALLY– and I do mean totally– out of control, Our legislators and other public servants have repeatedly and  willfully failed to heed the People’s will. When, oh, when, will CA citizens stop sending legislators to Sacramento that ignore our will?  2010 had better be that year. We need to publicize “representatives” NOT acting in our best interests. Ballot propositions, such as Prop 187, have repeatedly called for action that is not carried out.  Other states need to do this, too.

Is it really “racist” to insist that outsiders respect our laws and that we take care of our own people first and foremost?  Don’t be brainwashed.

This would also spark a welcome 10th Amendment confrontation with the Feds.

What to do about it:

- Get new legislators to replace unresponsive ones. If you don’t have time to work on this, contribute to Conservative orgnaizations that are.

Here’s another Constition-bending (if not breaking) Czar list, but there are so many around and it changes so much that even this doesn’t have everyone. For instance, missing is Anita Dunn, recently resigned Director of White House Communications, promoter of the Beer Summit, war on Fox News and enabler of Napolitano’s war on veterans, “Teabaggers” and Conservatives in general. Her role model is Mao (no kidding!).  Dunn is married to Robert Bauer, who is defending Obama against the eligibility/birth certificate and now criminal election fraud suits and also planted Clerk Velamoor on Federal District Court Judge Carter’s staff …. the Barnett v Obama case, which went “poof” shortly thereafter.  Bauer was just rewarded with promotion to White House Counsel.

The Obamanation has gone from mocking and suppressing unfavorable publicity from its opponents to using the enforcement machinery to intimidate them. It’s interesting that they targeted a black man first, Rev. Dr. James Manning, a highly outspoken Conservative Harlem preacher and activist. My theory is that they think they can neutralize white opponents by mocking and accusing them of “racism,” but this is obviously much harder to do with black opponents, so they have now escalated the offensive to illegal measures.  We need to nip this in the bud by standing tall with Rev. Manning NOW!

Dr. Alan Keyes, the author, was also a Presidential candidate, who subsequently sued Obama on his ineligibility for the Presidency. The case, like the others, was thrown out on technicalities and never even heard.  Rev. Manning has shouted Obama’s ineligibility and the need to prosecute him from the rooftops and from YouTube, where he is now banned.  Now they’re trying to get him down from the rooftops, as well.

The movement to have Obama declared ineligible and thrown out has only grown and grown, in spite of huge efforts to suppress it. His outrageous actions to harm the nation are only fueling this effort, to greater and greater heights, as people realize that it is mandatory to get this guy off the stage before the nation is destroyed before our eyes.

It appears that the next round of efforts will be directed to criminal fraud prosecutions of Obama and his illegal enablers. See elsewhere on this blog for news on that.
